Sulekha joined the organisation in 2009 having journeyed her way through various phases of the development of the sprots program at SO Bharat. Her expertise lies in designing sports modules , conducting coaches trainings and implementing the special olympics sports initiatives that include MATP (Motor Activitiy Training Program), Young Athletes Program , Developmental Sports and Unified Sports

She has been responsible for registration of coaches and athletes for the National Games and Advanced Coaches Training Programme for GMS Advanced Coaches Training Programme for softball.  Sulekha is a national level softball player and has a postgraduate diploma in Special Education. She has represented India as Head Coach in the World Summer Games 2007 in China and in Athens in 2011 and at the World Winter Games in South Korea in 2013. She was nominated the Best Trainer at SO Bharat for 2011.
