M.M. Khurram, is a National Level Trainer supervising National Championships all over India. He He has been associated with SO Bharat since 2005.With his specialization in football, he has been Resource person for many Advance Coaches Training Camps & National Coaching Camps throughout his tenure. He has been an Instructor for a University Certified Course conducted annually at LNIPE (Laxmi Bai Institute for Physical Education, Gwalior) and supported by MYAS(Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports)for 600 district Coaches for all disabilities.
While Coaching at Special Olympics Bharat he continued upgrading his skills, playing through various football clubs in senior division at the Delhi Soccer League.
Khurram participated as Coach of the Football team, at the Special Olympics World Games held in Shanghai, China in 2007, in LA, USA in 2015 and in Berlin Germany in 2023. After having completed the online Unified Coaches training he led few sessions across Camps held in each of the three regions of Special Olympics Bharat. He went as Coach with the Unified Football team for Special Olympics FIFA Qualifier rounds held in Bangkok in June 2013. In December he was selected Head Coach of the Football team that represented SO Bharat at the Asia Pacific Regional Games 2013, Newcastle, Australia. As part of the Australia Sports Outreach Program in 2013 he assisted the Resource team at the Football Camp held in Goa, India.
Khurram attended all four Coaching camps held by the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation in India in 2014 where his efforts were commended by the Tottenham Trainers. He has been successful in taking this training forward to more Coaches at the grassroot level while also expanding his expertise to several other sports, like Athletics, Floorball, Badminton, to name a few.
