Abhishek Kumar, Manager Sports at SO Bharat, is a native of Siddharth Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. He is talented with diverse skills and carries a passion for sports and fitness. His educational background, includes schooling from JNV Siddharth Nagar, BCom, and B.PEd from the Banaras Hindu University, and a Masters in Physical Education from IGIPESS (Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education & Sports Sciences), Delhi University. Abhishek is currently pursuing his PhD from the same college.
Abhishek has been associated with SO Bharat since 2020. In his role at Special Olympics Bharat, he would continue to champion inclusivity by empowering the Athletes through sports. Additionally, he has made his mark as an international professional boxer representing India, showcasing his prowess in the ring. He has participated at Boxing Championships held in Kathmandu, Nepal and Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2024
Moreover, as a freelancer in ‘weight loss expertise’ he has trained many Athletes in managing their fitness in the past four years. He is committed to train & mentor several Athletes to achieve their best on and off the sports field.
