National Health Fest for Divyangjan - WE CARE7 April 202231 States of IndiaInaugurated on 3 December 2021 at FICCI New Delhi, the event conducted over 100,000 health screenings of Athletes with intellectual Disabilities across eye care, Oral care and Health and Nutrition. The event saw a demonstration of fun-filled activities across all the 139 locations including Special Olympics Fit 5. The registrations were done through an indigenously designed digital app, that would continue to monitor and maintain record of the registered Athletes, with more functions to add in the future.
SO Bharat Youth Leadership Summit 20229-12 November 202217 States of IndiaCentral to the Special Olympics Global Strategy lies the engagement and empowerment of the youth, increasing leadership opportunities for students with and without intellectual disabilities. Students of all abilities have the power to positively impact their school communities by promoting inclusion.
